Johhny Black
Johnny Black (ジョニー・ブラック, Jonī Burakku?) is one of the 10,000 players who were trapped in «Sword Art Online» and a member of the infamous red guild «Laughing Coffin», where he is partnered with Red-Eyed XaXa. He is well known for using poisons and such in battles. His real name is Kanamoto Atsushi (金本 敦(かなもと あつし), Kanamoto Atsushi?).
Appearance
In SAO, like most of the Laughing Coffin, Johnny wears a dark colored hooded cloak and a mask. His hands are armored, and he also appears to be very thin. It is later revealed that in real life he has an uneven tangle of long hair, thin cheeks covered by a stubby beard and has silver earrings on his ears. He wears a thick silver necklace, a discolored T-shirt with leather pants of the same color and high laced boots, giving off a shabby overall impression.
Personality
Johnny Black is a sadistic, cold-blooded killer who likes to have fun with his victims before killing them. For example, when he, XaXa, and PoH had captured Schmitt, Caynz, and Yolko in the Hill of Memories, he suggested having a fight-to-the-death game among their captives, with the promise of freedom as a reward to the victor of the game. However, PoH revealed that he had killed the winner of such a game the last time anyway.

Aincrad Arc
A Murder Case in the Area
In SAO, he appears during the Murder in the Area incident along with PoH and XaXa.
On a certain night of August that year, the Clearers launched a crusade to vanquish the red guild and Johnny was captured along with 11 other «Laughing Coffin» members.
Phantom Bullet Arc
He serves as Xaxa's accomplice in the Death Gun incident, injecting «Death Gun»'s victims with Succinylcholine in real life, just as they are shot with Death Gun's pistol in-game during the Bullet of Bullets tournament. He is personally responsible for the deaths of 2 BoB finalists, Pale Rider and Garret.
After the incident, he is the only member of the Death Gun trio who is not caught by the police. It is said that he may still have one last syringe of Succinylcholine.
Alicization Arc
