Shivata

Appearance

In the early stages of the game, Shivata wore metal armour and a dark blue shirt, with a breatsplate on top[1] and was armed with a «Stout Brand».[2] In the later stages of the game, Shivata wore a standard Divine Dragon Alliance outfit: upper body armour, bluish pants, a cape and a helmet that concealed his eyes, but not his mouth.[3] He also brandished a sword and wielded a shield.[3]

Chronology

Aincrad Arc

Rondo of a Fragile Blade

On December 9, 2022; Shivata came to Nezha in Taran to have his Stout Blade enhanced with heaviness. However, Nezha used Quick Change to replace Shivata's broadsword with a duplicate that no longer had any strengthening attempts left. Nezha then attempted to enhance the sword, causing it to break, thus tricking Shivata into believing that he had lost his sword. Shivata showed remarkable restraint and left with minimal complaint to Nezha.

On December 14, 2022; Shivata participated in the 2nd Floor boss raid. In the aftermath of the battle, Shivata approached Nezha, who joined the battle midway, to inquire about his change in profession and how he managed to obtain a rare weapon. As Nezha admitted to having stolen Shivata's sword, Shivata asked him whether he still had the stolen sword. When Nezha denied this, Shivata asked whether Nezha would be able to pay him back for the damage. When Nezha claimed that he had spent the money on luxury accommodations and meals, the members of the raid became enraged. However, in the end, the other members of the Legend Braves admitted that they had a part in the crime and offered their equipment as compensation, resulting in a spontaneous auction to raise money for compensating Shivata and the others.

Red-nosed Reindeer

On December 24, 2023, Shivata and the Divine Dragon Alliance followed Klein and the Fuurinkazan, who were following Kirito, to the Forest of Wandering, the spawn point of Nicholas The Renegade.[3] While Kirito went of to fight the Flag Mob, the Divine Dragon Alliance made a deal with the Fuurinkazan to have a duel between Klein and a member of the alliance to decide which party would have to go back.[4] As Klein was victorious, the Alliance's members had left by the time Kirito returned from his battle.[4]

March, 2024

Shivata was among the Divine Dragon Alliance members participating in the battle against the 56th Floor's Field Boss, Geocrawler.[5]

August, 2024

Shivata was among the Divine Dragon Alliance members participating in the crusade against Laughing Coffin.[6]

November, 2024

Shivata was among the Divine Dragon Alliance members participating in the battle against The Skull Reaper[7] and was also among those who survived the battle.[8]

Shivata was among the remaining 6,147 players logged out of the game after Kirito defeated Heathcliff, prematurely clearing the game.[8]
